JAKARTA – PT Bank KB Bukopin Syariah has officially changed its brand name and company logo to KB Bank Syariah. This rebranding was symbolically inaugurated during the Rebranding Ceremony at the KB Bank Syariah Headquarters on Tuesday (March 19, 2024).

This transformation marks a significant milestone in the company’s journey, which began in 2021. Previously, the company operated under the brand name Bank Syariah Bukopin, which was later changed to KB Bukopin Syariah. Now, with a new name and logo, KB Bank Syariah aims to strengthen its market presence. Additionally, on March 3, 2024, the parent company, KB Bukopin, had already rebranded to KB Bank. This change further emphasizes KB Bank Syariah’s integration into KB Bank and KB Financial Group (KBFG), the largest financial entity from South Korea.

KB Bank Syariah President Director, Koko T. Rachmadi, stated that the rebranding was carried out to enhance brand positioning and reinforce the "Korea Best" image, which reflects the essence of the KB brand.

"The rebranding of KB Bank Syariah is not just about changing our identity; it is a strategic move to strengthen KB Bank Syariah’s position and image among the public, particularly our customers across Indonesia," Koko explained. However, this rebranding does not affect the company’s legal name, which remains PT Bank KB Bukopin Syariah.
