Strengthening Collaboration, KBBS Signs Cooperation Agreement with Muhammadiyah's Wakaf Utilization Council

Jakarta – KB Bank Syariah (KBBS) has signed a Cooperation Agreement (Perjanjian Kerjasama, PKS) with the Wakaf Utilization Council (Majelis Pendayagunaan Wakaf, MPW) of Muhammadiyah Central Leadership (Pimpinan Pusat, PP) regarding the management of Wakaf Investment Funds through the Cash Waqf Linked Deposit (CWLD) scheme. The agreement was signed by KBBS Business Director Agus Suhendro and Chairman of MPW PP Muhammadiyah Amirsyah Tambunan at the KH. Ahmad Dahlan Auditorium, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday, June 9, 2024.
CWLD is a temporary cash waqf investment instrument in the form of deposits. Through this collaboration, both parties agreed to manage CWLD-based Wakaf Investment Funds, which will be carried out by the Wakaf Utilization Council from the central level to the regional level under the auspices of PP Muhammadiyah.
Also present at the signing ceremony were KBBS President Director Koko T. Rachmadi and PP Muhammadiyah General Treasurer Hilman Latief. “We warmly welcome this collaboration, and we hope it will bring significant benefits to the community,” said Koko.
