JAKARTA, June 27, 2024 – PT Bank KB Bukopin Syariah (KBBS) held its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2023 Fiscal Year at the KBBS Head Office, Jalan Salemba Raya No. 55, Central Jakarta. The meeting proceeded smoothly, attended by shareholders and/or their representatives.

The AGMS agenda included approval of the company’s annual report, including the supervisory report conducted by the Board of Commissioners and the Sharia Supervisory Board, ratification of the financial statements, and granting full release and discharge of responsibility (acquit et de charge) to the Board of Commissioners and the Board of Directors for their supervisory and managerial actions during the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023.

The second agenda was the appointment of a Public Accountant to audit the company’s financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023. The final agenda addressed changes in the company’s management structure.

During the AGMS, the reappointment of several officials whose terms had ended was approved, including Adil Syahputra as Director of Compliance and Risk Management, Deddy S.A. Kodir as Commissioner, and Ikhwan Abidin as Chairman of the Sharia Supervisory Board. Additionally, the AGMS approved the appointment of Ji Kyu Jang as Deputy President Director.

"Ji Kyu Jang will be able to carry out his duties and functions in his position after obtaining approval from the Financial Services Authority (OJK)," said KBBS Corporate Secretary Umar Hasni.
